[ecrea] Vacancy: Lecturer in Media, Leeds Beckett University

The School of Cultural Studies and Humanities is seeking to appoint a 
Lecturer in Media to contribute to the development and delivery of its 
undergraduate and postgraduate courses and the supervision of research 
students in this disciplinary area.


We wish to appoint a research active colleague with specialisms in film, 
television and social media, but are open to interests in a range of 
media, cultural studies and communication. We would welcome a colleague 
who can forge partnerships with the media industries, with particular 
interests in marketing/ digital marketing.


Applicants should be able to demonstrate either a proven track record in 
research and publication activity or the capacity to develop such a 
track record and experience of university teaching, curriculum 
development and/ or show the willingness/ capacity to develop in these 
areas.


An ability and willingness to work collegially across disciplinary 
boundaries is also essential for this post.
