*Virtual Realities – Immersive Documentary Encounters,* 
<http://bit.ly/2t6iFOL> is a two and a half year EPSRC research project 
investigating the intersection between Virtual Reality and non-fiction; 
a collaboration between the Universities of Bristol, Bath and UWE Bristol.

This multi-disciplinary research project will be undertaken in dialogue 
with industry partners, including BBC R&D, the Guardian and Aardman 
Animations.

We are seeking a Research Fellow, to be based at UWE Bristol, with 
experience of audience study, user experience evaluation and /or 
production study in the context of documentary or immersive media. A 
familiarity with practice-based research is desirable.

The post-holder will design and disseminate audience and production 
studies working closely with predetermined industry partners. They will 
develop and undertake mapping and contextual research across the field, 
working as part of the project's multi-disciplinary team. They will 
develop and assist with the preparation and delivery of high quality 
research ouputs.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and focused researcher 
in this emerging field as part of a highly engaged critical and creative 
team.

Candidates are required to have completed a PhD in a relevant field.
