The appointment will be on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be
Appoinment at Grade 8 £41,844 - £49,362, Appointment at Grade 9 £53,650
- 58,337 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The post holder will be expected to contribute to teaching, assessment
and curriculum design on the MA Digital Media, Culture and Education
programme including the development of new modules.
The post holder will be at the forefront of international developments
in learning and teaching, and be able to assist with student recruitment
across the programme and contribute to MA programme leadership and
management responsibilities.
The post holder will have comparable research experience within the
fields of digital arts, media and cultural studies, digital cultures,
digital media production, software design or other relevant fields
related to digital media and education. They will have a proven ability
to teach in different contexts and learning environments, including
online and show the ability to bring research and innovation into their
teaching practice.
To be appointed at Grade 9 candidates will need to demonstrate: Evidence
of scholarship in the field, including work of international profile,
with a strong record of peer reviewed publications and ideally a score
of 3 or more in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF). A
significant record of working effectively with others, cooperating with
colleagues and helping the team achieve its goals, with experience of
leading and managing a team.
