GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT/PhD BURSARY IN MEDIA PRODUCTION
The School of Creative Studies and Media at Bangor University would like to
appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Media Production. The post will
commence in September 2009 or as soon as possible thereafter, and will be
tenable for one year.
? Salary of circa £12K
? The post holder will be expected to
assist with media production teaching,
not normally exceeding 10 contact hours per week during semester
? The post holder will be expected to
register for a three-year PhD in any
area of Media Practice, including film, television, documentary-making or
radio, and will receive a full domestic three-year PhD fee remission.
? The successful candidate will have a good first degree, preferably in
Media or a cognate discipline, and either a Masters in a relevant discipline
or equivalent industry experience.
The post holder will ultimately be responsible to Dr Stephanie Marriott,
Head of the School of Creative Studies and Media, and will work under the
supervision of members of the Media Production and Journalism teaching team.
