The School of Journalism and Communication is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person for the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow.

The role: The successful appointee will be expected to develop a program of research that will contribute to the research profile of the School. This will involve seeking external funding sources, contributing to current research projects, as well as publishing and supervising postgraduate students where appropriate.

The person: Applicants should possess a PhD in a relevant field of journalism and/or communication, together with a demonstrated ability to design and conduct innovative high quality research. Evidence of successful grant applications and relevant publications are also required.

Remuneration: This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment for 3 years at Academic Level A. The remuneration package will be in the range $52,929 - $64,466 per annum including employer superannuation contributions up to 17%.
