Tue Apr 08 07:32:18 GMT 2025

We are excited to announce that the Computational Design and Computer-aided Creativity will be co-located with ICCC'25 (International Conference on Computational Creativity) and will take place in a hybrid format (online and in Campinas, Brazil).

We invite submissions in three categories:
· Papers
· Pictorials
· Show and Tell (description of already published work)

Below, you will find the official Call for Submissions.

Computational Design focuses on exploring systematic and algorithmic processes that use computing in the conception of design artefacts, allowing the designer to go beyond the limitations of computer-aided design software tools (i.e., conventional computerized design).

The workshop provides the opportunity to present, discuss and promote innovative and ongoing work in Computational Design.

We expect contributions coming from all creative application areas, such as:
– Graphic Design, Typography or Product Design
– Sound or Music
– Architecture or Interior Design

*Topics*
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
– Novel algorithms, methods and tasks;
– Enhancing and extending existing tools;
– Integrating theory and practice;
– Challenges, impact and opportunities.

*Submission Types*
– Papers (5-9 pages) – submissions with original research work which will be judged on their technical soundness and rigor. – Pictorials (up to 3 pages) – Original short submissions that emphasize visual communication as the primary means of conveying ideas. – Show and tell (up to 3 pages) – Extended abstracts based on already published research.
