[Commlist] Call for Short Papers - ACM RecSys (Recommender Systems) Conference 2025

We are pleased to announce the *Call for Short Papers* for *ACM RecSys 2025*, the premier conference on recommender systems, taking place *September 22–26, 2025, in Prague, Czech Republic*.

📍*Why Submit a Short Paper to ACM RecSys 2025?*

ACM RecSys is the premier venue for research *across the full spectrum of recommender systems*, from *technical advancements to their societal, economic and legal impact and human-centered aspects*. The Short Paper Track at ACM RecSys 2025 provides an opportunity to:

-Present *exciting new ideas* and early-stage research with promising results -Share insights on *emerging topics, novel applications, and creative approaches -Engage with the RecSys community to gather valuable feedback and foster discussions

Short papers are ideal for contributions that are *not yet mature enough for full papers*, but still offer *significant insights* into recommender systems.

💡*Topics of Interest Include, but are not limited to:*

  * *Human-centered and interactive recommendation approaches*
  * *Societal impact, including fairness, bias, and diversity*
  * *Economic models and the role of RecSys in digital markets*
  * *Sustainable and eco-aware recommendation systems*
  * *Legal, regulatory, and ethical considerations*
  * *Real-world applications and case studies*
  * *Conversational, cross-domain, multi-modal, multi-stakeholder,
    generative, knowledge-based, <insert your focus here> recommender
    systems*
  * *Datasets and evaluation protocols and metrics*

*Key Deadlines (midnight, AoE)*

  * *Abstract Submission (mandatory):*April 22, 2025
  * *Short Paper Submission:*April 29, 2025
  * *Author Rebuttal Period:*June 5–10, 2025
  * *Notification of Acceptance:*July 3, 2025

All accepted short papers will be peer reviewed and *published in the ACM Digital Library* and presented as *talks or posters* at the conference.
