*2nd Annual ALGEPI Workshop – AI to the Future: User-Centric Innovation 
and Media Regulation*

We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd Annual ALGEPI Workshop, titled 
/“AI to the Future: User-Centric Innovation and Media Regulation”/. The 
workshop will take place on the *23rd of April 2025* from *9:30h to 
17:00h CET *at *Université de Namur*, Belgium.

This interdisciplinary event brings together scholars and practitioners 
to discuss the evolving relationship between *AI, media regulation, and 
user-centric innovation* in the European media ecosystem. As AI-driven 
content delivery and governance mechanisms continue to shape the media 
landscape, this workshop provides a platform to critically assess and 
discuss challenges, opportunities, and policy implications.

The workshop will feature:

🔹 A keynote presentation on public value and AI implementation at VRT.

🔹 Sessions on discoverability, user agency, and explainability.

🔹Discussions on regulation, including perspectives on the AI Act and 
transparency in media.

🔹 An interactive session showcasing AI-driven prototypes.
