    Calling for PhD Students working in the intersection of journalism
    and other disciplines The 11th ICA Journalism Studies PhD Colloquium
    is around the corner, and we want YOU to be part of it.


    Join us in Denver, United Stated, for an enriching in-person event
    on June 11, 2025. This is your chance to present and discuss your
    research, receive valuable feedback from experienced scholars, and
    connect with fellow PhD students from diverse backgrounds.

    *Important Dates:*
    *- Abstract Submission Deadline:* February 25th, 2025 at 11:59pm AoE
    (Anywhere on Earth) .
    - *Notification of Acceptance: *mid-March 2025
    - *Working Paper Submission Deadline: *May 1, 2025

    *The event is free of charge!*

    *Submission Guidelines:*
    *Send a 500-word abstract (excluding references) to Mathias Felipe
    at (mathias.felipe /at/ unifesp.br) <mailto:(mathias.felipe /at/ unifesp.br)>,
    labeled "Last_Name_JSColloquium2025."* Include your name,
    affiliation, and expected graduation date.

    If accepted, student participants will need to submit a
    *full/working paper* of up to 8000 words (including references) by
    *May 1st, 2025 no later than 11:59pm AoE *.

    The colloquium will be held on *June 11th, 2025 onsite in Denver,
    USA* (location to be announced).


    *Mentorship matters!* We are also looking for experienced scholars
    working in the intersection of journalism and media studies to give
    feedback on PhD students. Your expertise can make a significant
