and research contributions for a special edition focused on the latest 
trends and perspectives in* sports marketing, communication, and 
sponsorship.* This call is open to both those attending the related III 
SPRING International Congress on Sports Marketing, Journalism, 
Communication, and Sponsorship: Current Trends and Perspectives and 
those who are not.

  * The role of sponsorship in the development of sports events.
  * Sports marketing in the digital age: challenges and opportunities.
  * Technological transformations in sports coverage.
  * Analysis of current trends in the relationship between brands and
    sports.
  * Sport cinema and digital technologies.
  * The impact of social media on sports communication and consumer
    relations.
