Call for Theme Issues
MedieKultur: Journal of media and communication research
MedieKultur: Journal of media and communication research has openings
for theme issues from 2024 and on. MedieKultur publishestheme issues
with the aim of bringing international media and communication research
together,often in collaboration with ongoing research projects. Our
latest themes include /Intimacy and visual communication in social
media/, /Datafication of media and audiences/, /Streaming media/, and
/Platformed bodies/, gathering Danish and International research on key

If you have an ongoing research project in search of an outlet or if you
are working in an emerging field of interest attracting researchers
across research fields and environments, MedieKultur may be the place to
share your findings and engage in dialogue with other researchers.
MedieKultur is a double-blind peer reviewed and open access journal,
ranked in the highest class of scientific journals in the Danish
bibliometric system (Category 2) and indexed at Scopus and EBSCO.
MedieKultur does not take any charge for submission, review or
publishing of articles, and ourethics statements are based on Code of
Conduct and Best-Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (Committee on
