REMINDER – CALL FOR PAPERS

"I giornali oltre i giornali, i media oltre i media. Costruire comunità 
tra estensioni fisiche e digital" ("Newspapers beyond newspapers, media 
beyond media. Building communities across physical and digital extensions")

The deadline for submissions is approaching: 15 September 2026.

The conference explores the transformations of journalism and news 
organisations, with a focus on the physical and digital extensions of 
news outlets, including newsletters, podcasts, events, online 
communities, and artificial intelligence tools. It will address their 
role in shaping editorial identity, relationships with audiences, and 
new forms of participation and community-building.

The conference welcomes contributions from scholars working in 
Communication and Media Studies, as well as from related and 
interdisciplinary fields.

The working language of the conference is Italian.

Proposals are invited for 20-minute presentations. Submissions should 
include:

  * title
  * email address
  * institutional affiliation
  * abstract
  * short biographical note

Proposals should be submitted by 15 September 2026 to:
