CFP: Pop Culture Fandom Encyclopedia

Apologies for cross-posting. Paul Booth wants to thank everyone who has 
already submitted abstracts for the Bloomsbury Pop Culture Fandom 
encyclopedia. This is a reminder that Paul Booth is still accepting 
abstracts of 200-300 words for 1000-word entries about internationally 
important/unique fandoms (abstracts due Aug 30, 2026). First draft 
entries will be due Jan 15, 2027 (negotiable) with second drafts due 
later in 2027 for publication in 2028.

Paul Booth is still looking for contributions on any of the following:

Attack on Titan, Beatles, Blackpink, Bollywood, BookTok, Byron, Dance, 
DC Comics, Drag, Elvis, Eurovision, Final Fantasy, Fullmetal Alchemist, 
Grateful Dead, Hamilton, Homestuck, Homestar Runner, James Bond, K-pop, 
KPOP Demon Hunters, Mass Effect, MCU, Merlin, Metal, Naruto, NASCAR, Pop 
Art, Sarah Bernhardt, Sound of Music, Squid Game, TMNT, Tyler Perry, and 
Vampires (or, please suggest more!)

*Please send a one-paragraph (200-300 word) abstract of your topic to 
(pbooth81 /at/ gmail.com) <mailto:(pbooth81 /at/ gmail.com)> by Aug 30, 2026*. If you 
have ideas on other fandoms you'd like to see included, you are welcome 
to include an abstract for those as well. Paul Booth is particularly 
interested in non-US/UK fandoms and historical fandoms. You may submit 
more than one abstract.
