[Commlist] Tenure-track position with DIGSUM

As Director of the DIGSUM Centre for Digital Social Research at Umeå 
University, Simon Lindgren wants to encourage digital/social scholars 
(within 7 years of obtaining their PhD) to apply for a tenure-track 
position with us. The amazing conditions are:

- A 6-year position as Assistant Professor with substantial protected 
research time, a yearly 1 million SEK (€ 90k / $ 105 k)
- Comes with a fully funded PhD student for you to recruit and supervise
- A further yearly 100kSEK (€9k / $ 10.5k) in research resources

Your research should broadly align with our work (https://digsum.org 
<https://digsum.org>), and you must be prepared to relocate to Umeå, 
Sweden. The call will open no later than July 1st 2026.

*Importantly*: this is part of a broader call which isopen to applicants 
from any discipline. Ten posts will be appointed across the university 
as a whole, each matched to a strong research environment — DIGSUM being 
one such environment — through an open competition decided at the 
faculty level.
