digital bodies*

*DiSCo Network Research Conference*

Submissions are invited to participate in the CHASE DiSCo (Digital 
Studies Collective) 2nd annual student research conference.

"Bodies in Digital Transition" is a transdisciplinary conference that 
brings together scholars, artists, and technologists to explore 
materiality of the mechanical body. We invite critical dialogues and 
creative interventions across disciplines, cultures, and methodologies 
in order to explore the intersection of aesthetic and technical design 
in machine bodies.

This conference is suitable for doctoral researchers at all stages. 
Whether your research centres on the digital or not, we invite creative 
interpretations of the theme to explore transdisciplinary possibilities 
from diverse perspectives.

The conference will feature two keynote presentations and several 
networking opportunities.

Deadline for abstracts: 26th June 2026
