[Commlist] IECA Call: Self-Nominations to Attend UNFCCC Climate Negotiations (SB 64)

The International Environmental Communication Association (IECA) is 
inviting *self-nominations from IECA members interested in attending the 
UNFCCC climate negotiations (SB 64)* taking place in *Bonn, Germany, 
from 08–18 June 2026*.

The June meetings of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies help prepare the 
agenda and negotiations for *COP 31*, which will take place in Antalya, 
Turkey, in November 2026.

IECA holds *Civil Society Organization (CSO) status with the UNFCCC*, 
which allows the association to nominate members to participate in 
UNFCCC meetings as observers. Since 2015, IECA representatives have 
attended UNFCCC sessions in Bonn, Paris, Marrakech, Katowice, Madrid, 
Glasgow, Sharm El Sheikh, Dubai, Baku, and Belém.

Gregg Walker (Professor Emeritus, Oregon State University) serves as 
IECA’s UNFCCC Focal Point and coordinates IECA delegations, nominations, 
and requests for Side Events and Exhibits.
