CALL FOR PAPERS: INTERNATIONAL ONLINE SYMPOSIUM ON HUMAN-AI CREATIVE WORKFLOWS

This symposium explores the reconfiguration of creative workflows through Generative AI. Moving beyond sequential models, we examine Human-AI collaboration as an entanglement of actors, practices, and artifacts involving distributed agency and mutual learning. We invite Communication and Media Studies scholars, practitioners, and interdisciplinary researchers to submit proposals.Organized by scholars from the Pompeu Fabra University, the University college of London and the University of Amsterdam.

LINES OF INTEREST

    Educational approaches: AI Literacy and teaching-learning strategies.

  *

    Political economy: Labour conditions, industry shifts, and
    monopolisation.

  *

Agency and Authorship: Control, autonomy, and redefining creative value.

  *

    Conceptual frameworks: Novel theories for Human-AI "entanglement".

  *

    Case studies: GenAI implementation in newsrooms, studios, and agencies.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  *

    Abstract: 300-500 words.

  *

    Bio: Max. 100 words.

  *

    Language: English.

  *

    No payment from the authors will be required. Participation is free.
