Aims & Scope


The International Journal of Media & Cultural Politics (MCP) publishes critical scholarship on the politics of cultural power: who speaks, who governs, and who is structurally excluded and through what media systems, platforms and institutional arrangements those conditions are produced and contested.


The journal is double-anonymised peer-reviewed, indexed in Scopus and the Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), published by Intellect and distributed in North America by the University of Chicago Press.
