The ECREA Media, Cities and Space 
<https://mediacitytwg.wordpress.com/> (MCS) section invites you to a 
one-day online conference focused on strategies for engaging publics and 
enhancing research impact in the interdisciplinary field of media and 
urban studies.

The programme features a keynote by *Scott McQuire* (University of 
Melbourne) on the evolving paradigm of media cities and urban 
communication, alongside targeted sessions on both traditional academic 
formats - such as monographs, journals, and special issues - and 
alternative approaches including podcasts and walking tours. Speakers 
include *Marcos Dias*, *Burcu Baykurt*, *Paul O’Neill*, *Linda Kopitz*, 
and *Scott Rodgers*, among others.

Networking opportunities are central to the event, including a dedicated 
*YECREA Post-Conference Networking Session (16:30–17:00 GMT)* for Early 
Career Researchers (open to both YECREA and non-YECREA members).

This event is free and open to all, offering a space to share work, 
foster collaborations, and expand research visibility.
