Launched in 2023 as part of the International Symposium on the Search
for New Forms and Methodologies in Academic Studies/Publishing,
CINEMEDIA Text & Audiovisual Journal is waiting for your classic
text-based articles and national/international video essays/articles in
the fields of cinema and media for its third issue! CINEMEDIA Text &
Audiovisual Journal is an open access peer-reviewed journal that
publishes research in the field of film studies and media in accordance
with scientific rules. It is published biannually in Turkish and
English. Indexed by EBSCO.
CINEMEDIA Text & Audiovisual Journal is the first journal in Turkey to
publish not only classic text-based articles on cinema and media, but
also national and international video articles. The journal encourages
innovative approaches in the field of cinema, media and cultural
studies, and aims to reflect and convey the outputs of scientific
research on cinema as an art through its own material. In line with this
mission, in accordance with academic standards, it aims to contribute to
the ontological and intellectual development of academic articles and to
be a useful resource by emphasizing the importance of not only consuming
but also producing aspects of visual literacy.
In the publication process, CINEMEDIA Text & Audiovisual Journal takes
into account the issues specified in the Interuniversity Council
Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive from authors,
referees and editors. All responsibility for the articles published in
the journal belongs to the author.
Note: The decision to publish the studies belongs to the editors.
Studies accepted as a result of referee evaluations are not obliged to
be published. The editors have the right to leave the accepted studies
to the next issue in order to ensure harmony between the journal issues.
