Call for Papers: Media and Communication Research and Practice 2025
International Conference, organized by the University of Bucharest, 
19-20 June 2025, virtual and in-person sessions

This conference provides an interdisciplinary platform for scholars, 
researchers, and professionals to discuss the evolving dynamics in media 
and communication. Key thematic areas include:

Political Communication in the Digital Age – the impact of digital 
technologies on public discourse and democracy.
The Changing Media Landscape – regulatory shifts, journalism funding, 
and the influence of emerging technologies.
Marketing and Communication in the Digital Era – digital strategies, 
influencer marketing, and ethical considerations.
Abstract submission deadline: May 1, 2025

Selected papers will be published in a special issue of the Romanian 
Journal of Journalism and Communication.
