*We are pleased to announce _two_ Postdoctoral Research Associate posts
(Birkbeck, and University of Bristol) attached to the AHRC-funded
research project, *
*/Colonial Reels: Histories and Afterlives of Colonial Film Collections./*
The project is researching the colonial film collections of four partner
archives, British Empire and Commonwealth Collection, British Film
Institute, Royal Anthropological Institute and Wellcome Collection. The
project is also working with contemporary filmmakers/visual artists of
the global south calling for access to films and footage taken in and of
British colonies.
*Please note: *The two posts are similar to each other but do have some
differences in emphasis. We encourage interested potential applicants to
read through the specifications for both posts. If you are interested in
both, please submit individual applications for each one.

* Working collaboratively and independently under the mentorship and
guidance of the Co-Investigator, to attain the project goals.
