Fri Dec 27 18:26:33 GMT 2024

This is a FIRST call for submissions to the 13th International Educational Games Competition at the 19th European Conference on Games Based Learning (ECGBL 2025). The conference will be held next year at Nord University, Norway on 1-3 October 2025.

For full details see: http://www.academic-conferences.org/conferences/ecgbl/ecgbl-international-educational-games-competition/

Whilst Educational games are becoming more and more accepted in the classroom, they still make up a small number of the games produced by large game producers. However every year there are a huge number of innovative educational games created by both individual educators and smaller gamer producers.

The International Educational Games Competition provides a venue for Educational Game Creators to come together and showcase their games for both a panel of judges and to showcase to the conference participants.

The competition has categories for fully developed games, games still in development and games developed by students.

Games in any format are welcome and this includes both digital and non-digital applications.

All presenters reaching the final rounds of the awards must attend the conference in person in Norway

Game Submission Deadline – 05 May 2025
