[Commlist] Job Vacancy - Teaching/Senior Teaching Fellow in Design and Media: Theory Studies at UCA, Xiamen

We are pleased to announce that a vacancy has opened for a Teaching or 
Senior Teaching Fellow in Design and Media: Theory and Researchat the 
Institute for Creativity and Innovation (ICI) in Xiamen, China: A dual 
degree institute opened by the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) 
and Xiamen University (XMU).

The university is principally design-based but these units will be based 
in theory and research. The units introduce theory, contextual 
frameworks and historical contexts as a basis for students to understand 
and interpret multiple forms of visual culture. We utilise a 
'theory-through-practice' approach to teaching and help the students 
understand the wider contextual meanings of the work they create. Full
