[Commlist] UNC Chapel Hill Department of Communication Doctoral program virtual information session November 10 from 3:30-4:30 PM

Prospective graduate student applicants to the doctoral program in Communication at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill are warmly invited to attend a virtual information session on *Thursday, November 10^th  from 3:30-4:30 PM EST*, via zoom (registration link below). At the meeting, you will be able to talk with current faculty and graduate students about the program, including the application process, funding opportunities, and your questions.

About the doctoral program in Communication at UNC-CH:

The Department of Communication at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill serves as the intellectual home for 25 faculty members, 45 graduate students, and over 600 undergraduates. Across teaching, research, and service, the Department emphasizes cultural and critical approaches to communication, centering questions of power, equity, transformation, and emancipation. The Department’s doctoral program offers a theoretically rich, interdisciplinary, problem-based approach to education and research that enables graduate students to define their own research in response to the changing demands of a constantly evolving communicative and cultural world. This design ensures foundational study in sub-disciplines of Communication alongside rich interdisciplinary engagement.
