[Commlist] Borderlines IX: Seeking Solidarity and Wonder Through Performance, Hybrid Conference

De Montfort University's Dance, Drama and Performance Studies Research Institute warmly invites you to /Borderlines IX: Seeking Solidarity and Wonder Through Performance//, /an interdisciplinary conference on Thursday the 30^th June - Friday the 1^st of July. The first day of the conference will take place entirely online via Zoom. The second day of the conference will function as a hybrid event and can be accessed online or attended in person.

See below for the programme and the details of the keynote speaker, the Ukranian feminist multimedia artist, architect, actionist-performer and researcher, Maria Kulikovska. Our conference will feature a performance by Simon Perril, DMU’s Professor of Poetic Practice and will conclude with a performance of /E Pluribus Plures/by Leigh Landy,**DMU’s Professor of Contemporary Music. A series of papers, further performances and artist talks will surround two roundtable discussions: one focused on decolonisation and solidarity, and the other focused on collective resistance.
