UAB Summer School course - Good Journalism is Alive

We are happy to announce to the Commlist community that 'Good Journalism 
is Alive' three-week course yielding 6 ECTS credits is programmed from 
11 July to 29 July 2022. Classes take place Monday to Friday, from 9 
a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) campus.
This course is taught in English, in an international atmosphere among 
scholars from diverse backgrounds, destined for undergraduate and PhD 
students who are not in journalism studies.
In this program, journalism is analysed through various genres, 
interviews, chronicles, and reports, by working with must-read classics 
such as Gay Talese, Truman Capote, Oriana Fallaci, and John Hersey, 
among others.
On top of theoretical activities, practical work along with in-person 
visits are scheduled to news media companies based in Barcelona. New 
digital narratives evolution will also be analysed, from an analytical 
and descriptive perspective, avoiding normative parameters and catalogs.
