COVID-19 #DisInfoStudies Seminar

The recent polarization of various political, cultural, and
communicative processes around the COVID-19 pandemic demands continuous
and urgent work. LabCom and Re/media.Lab (University of Beira Interior,
Portugal) and the SOPCOM's (Portuguese Communication Sciences
Association) Journalism and Society section are organizing the COVID-19
#DisInfoStudies Seminar, to be held on October 2, through an online
platform, focused on the circulation of disinformation and fake news in
the context of the pandemic. During the seminar, round tables will be
held, followed by an expanded discussion. The phenomena of
disinformation on COVID-19 pandemic will be addressed by a
multidisciplinary contribution of Communication and Media Scientists,
Psychologists and Life Sciences ethics experts.
