We are pleased to announce the publication of our sixth entry in
Screenworks Volume 10.1, William Brown’s /Golden Gate/,

/Golden Gate/ is a poetic video essay reworking footage from 43 movies,
spanning eight decades. Through intertitles, repetition, loops and other
formal strategies, the film creates an affective and theoretical
argument concerning the role of the Golden Gate Bridge in American
cinema and American culture more generally.
Volume 10.1 <https://doi.org/10.37186/swrks/10.1> is an open "rolling"
volume which means we are accepting practice-research submissions on any
subject throughout this academic year. More information and guidelines
