[Commlist] Conference GlobMar2020

We are pleased to invite you to the Global Maritime Conference – GlobMar 
2020, which will be held from 2 to 3 April 2020 in Sopot, Poland. This 
edition is focused on increasing process efficiency in the maritime 
industry.

The Conference is jointly organized by the University of Gdańsk, 
Shanghai Maritime University, City University of Applied Sciences in 
Bremen, Maritime University of Szczecin, University of Szczecin and Free 
Hanseatic City of Bremen. The honorary patronage of the conference has 
Rector of the University of Gdańsk, Prof. Jerzy Piotr Gwizdała.
Conference scopes are grouped into 5 areas of expected papers and 
presentations:
I.                    Greening of the Shipping,
II.                  Greening of Port Operations,
III.                Maritime Spatial Planning – the hard path to near 
deadline,
IV.                The New Silk Road – opportunities and challenges,
V.                  Solutions and technologies supporting efficiency 
improvement.

GlobMar 2020 is to provide an international forum for scientists and 
professionals in the academia, industry and government to address recent 
research results and to present and discuss their research, ideas, 
technologies, systems, tools and experiences in all theoretical and 
practical issues arising in the global maritime economy on a 
cross-cutting issue approach based on economic or legal or environmental 
or social fields, or interdisciplinary.

According to scientific profile the organizers prepared an interesting 
publishing opportunities, as a full paper or book chapter. For papers we 
ensure such well-ranked journals as: Sustainability (with the Special 
Issue: “Advanced Liqiud Waste and Gas Waste Treatment Processes”), 
Transport Problems, Archives of Environmental Protection and Scientific

Important dates:
·         Abstract submission deadline is estimated for the 31th of 
January 2020.
·         Declaration of abstracts acceptance you can expect till the 
15th of February 2020.
