We would like to draw you attention to the approaching submission 
deadline for the annual conference of the European Media 
Management Association (emma). The *deadline is January 26*.

The conference will take place from *June 3-5 in Jönköping, Sweden*.

The conference theme is “Contextualizing Media Management Research” and 
it focuses on *the role of context in the rapid transformation of media 
organizations*, including, but not limited to:____

  * internal contexts, such as types of ownership and organizational
    capabilities and culture…,____
  * external setting, such as technological and social jolts, legal and
    regulatory institutions…,____
  * and multilevel**temporal aspects, such as organizational inertia and
    change in relation to system-wide technological and social 
trends...____

To this end, emma welcomes paper, poster and sub-theme panel proposals 
that address either the specific conference theme or other issues 
regarding the management of media organizations.
