New issue of Contratexto Journal of Communication on Media Education (Peru)

The 32nd issue of Contratexto has been published It contains the Dossier 
“Media Education in Ibero-America: Development and Challenges”, edited 
by Julio-César Mateus (Universidad de Lima) and Pablo Andrade 
(Universidad Central de Chile).

It addresses the present and future of media education in Ibero-America, 
as well as its state of development and the challenges it presents. 
Media education concerns the role of traditional and new media as a 
subject matter. It is not limited to the role of ICTs as teaching tools, 
it is also about learning to use them.

The Dosier contains articles and essays from Ecuador, Argentina, Brasil, 
Mexico, Spain, Honduras, Venezuela and Peru. It also contains an 
interview with Valerio Fuenzalida.

The Review sections include books by Giancarlo Cappello, Teresa Quiroz, 
Jc Mateus, Rafael Suarez, Mariona Grané y Anna Tarragó.
