Open position at the EBU’s Media Intelligence Service

The European Broadcasting Union is the professional association of 
public broadcasters in Europe, devoted to making public service media 
indispensable. If you want to contribute to this task, its Media 
Intelligence Service is looking for a Visiting Researcher. This is a 
fixed-term position for 1-year based in Geneva from 1 January 2020 or 
the earliest the candidate could join from that date, ideal for an 
early-career researcher who wants to broaden his/her perspectives 
working in an international and multicultural environment.

The Visiting Researcher will have a supporting role for the senior media 
analysts in the team. S/he will carry out diverse research tasks 
including: data collection and processing, documentation, and production 
of high quality reports, slide decks, datasets and presentations.

S/he will be required to be polyvalent, addressing topics in diverse 
fields of knowledge related to public service media and the media 
market, including market trends, media consumption trends, and digital 
activities and strategies. S/he will also contribute to the production 
of country profiles. In addition, s/he will be also involved in the 
provision of information on request to the EBU Members and Departments.
