[Commlist] Open Rank Position in Media and Communications, Koç University - Istanbul

Koç University, Department of Media and Visual Arts (MAVA) invites 
applications for full-time faculty positions of any rank (beginning 
September 2019). Areas of specialization are open, but candidates 
specializing in emerging media, media and politics, media and cultural 
studies are particularly encouraged to apply.

Successful candidates will be expected to teach two courses per semester 
and is expected to have an active research agenda. At the time of 
employment, candidates should have a PhD. We especially encourage 
applications from candidates whose research agenda is interdisciplinary. 
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Koç University is a foundation-funded, non-profit institution located in 
Istanbul, Turkey. The university is committed to the pursuit of 
excellence in both research and teaching. The medium of instruction is 
English. MAVA at Koç University offers an interdisciplinary curriculum 
that emphasizes media studies and communications theory, film, 
media/arts management, and production.
