[Commlist] Ph.D. opportunity in environmental humanities and social sciences

The interdisciplinary Fiction Meets Science research consortium in
northern Germany has a Ph.D. research opportunity with the “Sociology of
Development and Knowledge Group” at the Leibniz Center for Marine
Tropical Research/ University of Bremen. The position is fully funded
for three years in the German salary system. English language fluency
required (German is helpful, but not required). The candidate will work
within the sub-project ‘Narrating Science as a World-Making Activity:
Sea Level Change in Singapore,” led by Prof. Anna-Katharina Hornidge.
Candidates with backgrounds in comparative literature, cultural studies,
environmental history, anthropology, human geography, sociology, and
Southeast Asian Studies are particularly welcome.
