[Commlist] Post-doc opportunity: Fiction Meets Science (on TV)

This two-year position with the Fiction Meets Science <http://www.fictionmeetsscience.org/> research consortium in northern Germany may be of interest.

Project:

Science on TV: Forms and Functions of Representing Science and the Scientist in the ‘Golden Age of Television

Requirements:

  * Ph.D. in English literature, cultural studies, or media studies,
    with an emphasis on audiovisual media and US American culture, and
    familiarity with relevant methods in media and cultural studies
Preference given to applicants with the following additional qualifications:

  * Relevant presentations and publications in the field
  * Experience in interdisciplinary research groups
  * Experience organizing academic events
  * Experience with third party funding applications

This is a fully funded (German salary group TVL 13) two-year position with the Institute for English and American Studies <https://uol.de/en/english-american/> at the University of Oldenburg and the regional Fiction Meets Science Program.
