We are delighted to announce the* Second* *International Film
Conference:/ "/Hitchcock's /Vertigo: /60th Anniversary/" /* will take
place on 20th- 21st September 2018 in the Trinity long Room Hub, in
Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Hitchcoock’s /V//ertigo /ousted Orson
Welles's /Citizen Kane/ in 2012 from the top ranking position of the
British Film Institute's industry respected Sight & Sound poll conducted
every 10 years. Previously /Citizen Kane/ monopolised the top billing
every decade since 1962 but, after 50 years, /Citizen Kane/ was finally
de-throned by Hitchcock’s /Vertig/o when it was proclaimed the
"*/Greatest Film Ever Made/**". *
This September in Dublin we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the
masterpiece of cinema in Hitchcock's /Vertigo /during this two-day film
conference in Trinity College Dublin. The conference will feature the
presentations of many international speakers on Hitchcock from across
the globe: USA, Canada, UK, Hong Kong, Belgium and Switzerland. In
particular we are delighted to welcome both Charles Barr and Laura
Mulvey as keynote speakers at the conference in Dublin.
