[ecrea] Communication Theory special issue about Latin América Theorization
Wed May 16 12:58:56 GMT 2018
Out now
volume 28 of the academic journal Communication Theory titled "Latin
American Communication Theory Today: Charting Contemporary Developments
and Their Global Relevance"
As the editors of the volume say, Flor Engherl and Martín Becerra, since
their origins in the late 1950s, Latin American communication studies
have become increasingly institutionalized and thematically diverse.
This evolution, however, has been circulated to a limited extent beyond
borders, as noted by North American scholars in the 1990s.
I invite you to read this special issue and share it among your
colleagues so we can start to build new bridges of academic encounter
between the different continents.
Until June 30 you can download the articles for free from the following
