[ecrea] Call for Papers: CETIC.br – CGI.br Publications

The Regional Center for Studies on the Development of the Information
Society (Cetic.br), under the auspices of UNESCO, invites researchers
and other interested parties to contribute with proposals for the
article sections of the following publications:
- Survey on the Use of Information and Communication Technologies in
Brazilian Cultural Equipments – *ICT in Culture*;
- Survey on the Use of Information and Communication Technologies in
Brazilian Households – *ICT Households*;
- Survey on the Use of Information and Communication Technologies in
Brazilian Schools – *ICT in Education*;
- Survey on Internet Use by Children in Brazil – *ICT Kids Online Brazil*.
These publications will contain the results of surveys conducted in 2016
and will be published in English and Portuguese in both printed and
electronic formats, and will be launched in the second half of 2017.
Authors must send in expanded abstracts of between 800 and 1,000 words
by January 15, 2017. If proposals are accepted, the authors must send in
completed articles (up to 3,000 words) by April 10, 2017. Articles may
be submitted in either Portuguese or English.

- January 15, 2017 – deadline for abstract submission
- February 15, 2017 – result of abstract selection
- April 10, 2017 – deadline for submission of completed articles

The Regional Center for Studies on the Development of the Information
Society (Cetic.br), a department of the Brazilian Network Information
Center (NIC.br), affiliated with the Brazilian Internet Steering
Committee (CGI.br), is responsible for establishing strategic guidelines
relative to the use and development of the Internet in Brazil. More
