Seminar - the Power of Gendered Media Representations'. Durham University Business School, 22nd October, 09.30-16.30



This is the first seminar in a 3-year ESRC-funded Seminar Series 'Challenging Gendered Media Mis(s)Representations of Women Professionals and Leaders'



Speakers at the 22nd October seminar include:



* Professor Karen Ross, Professor of Media, Department of Media and Communication Design, Northumbria University.



* Lis Howell, Director of Broadcasting at City University London and co-founder of the ‘Expert Women Campaign’



* Hilary French, Head of Newcastle High School for Girls, formerly President of the Girls’ School Association



Attendance is free, and a limited number of travel bursaries are available for early career researchers, including doctoral students.
