[ecrea] Winter School "Mediality and Multimodality across Media"

Sat Sep 06 14:31:22 GMT 2014

Call for Papers
Mediality and Multimodality across Media
Winter School at the Graduate Academy

of the University of Tuebingen, Germany

January 28 to January 30, 2015

The Winter School “Mediality and Multimodality across Media” examines the forms and functions of a wide variety of multimodal media forms from a range of different (inter)disciplinary perspectives. To complement the keynotes and workshops, we warmly invite junior researchers—advanced MA students and PhD students, in particular—to contribute to the program in the form of short 15 minute papers presenting their own research projects.

Please send an abstract of 200 words and a 100-word bio via email (as a PDF or Word-Document) to (multimodality /at/ graduiertenakademie.uni-tuebingen.de) no later than December 15, 2014. Preference will be given to papers that have some connection to the rest of the Winter School program. For MA and PhD students whose papers are accepted, accommodation grants covering the cost of a hotel room for the duration of the Winter School (but not the travel costs) are available.
