The George Mason University, Global Affairs Program seeks applicants for
an Assistant Director of the Global Affairs Program (GLOA) to begin
January 2014.
Qualifications:
A Ph.D. is required.
Responsibilities:
This is 12-month, renewable term (nontenured) appointment.
Responsibilities include serving as undergraduate coordinator for GLOA,
advising GLOA majors, and teaching courses at both the graduate and
undergraduate levels. As undergraduate coordinator, the Assistant
Director will be responsible for advising Global Affairs majors; and
organizing and administering program activities including orientations,
internships, and the honors program. The teaching load for this position
is two courses in each of the fall and spring semesters and one course
in the summer.
