Temple's journalism department has three openings for the 2014-2015 
academic year.

Assistant Professor of Journalism focused on emerging journalism 
technologies

The Department of Journalism within the School of Media and 
Communication at Temple University seeks candidates for a tenure-track 
assistant professor position to begin in August  2014 focused on 
emerging journalism technologies and new story forms and design, with 
emphasis in mobile technologies and app development. The successful 
candidate needs to provide evidence of teaching experience and a clear 
research agenda. A Ph.D. is preferred.

experience working with diverse populations and/or covering urban

Communication at Temple University seeks candidates for a tenure-track 
assistant professor position to begin in August 2014 whose scholarly 
emphasis focuses on ethnic news media or international news media.

The successful candidate would have a research specialization in 
practice, policy, and/or media development. The successful candidate 
needs to provide evidence of teaching experience and a clear research 
agenda. A Ph.D. is preferred.

Open-rank professor position in new journalism business models

The Department of Journalism within the School of Media and 
Communication at Temple University seeks candidates for a tenure-track 
or tenured position (open rank) to begin in August 2014 focused on new 
journalism business models and entrepreneurship, in addition to 
expertise in audience metrics and audience response to news content. The 
successful candidate could conduct academic research in these areas or 
have significant professional experience in revenue generation whether 
within start-ups, within larger businesses or both. An advanced degree 
in a relevant field is required.

multimedia professional future with solid training in urban journalism, 
with particular emphasis on underserved communities. We seek a colleague

faculty members who teach over 650 undergraduate and graduate students. 
A Master of Journalism program offers professional training to full- and
