Call for chapter submissions: Gaming and Asian American Studies
To complete a contracted new follow-up volume to East Main Street: Asian
American Popular Culture, the editors are seeking an essay on gaming
with a focus on Asian American culture, experience, practice or
analysis. The essay's approach to gaming may be contemporary or
historical, and include an Asian American perspective on game-design,
play, representation, culture, technology or industry; it may take up
Asian American studies from any number of disciplines and from a
regional, national or international perspective. The successful original
essay will be published in a forthcoming new collection from New York
University Press. Please send essay drafts (between 4500 and 6000 words)
