[ecrea] Two Pre-Doc/Post-Doc Positions at U Mannheim

The research group "Cultures of Sustainability" in the newly founded 
Research and Study Center "Dynamics of Change" at the University of 
Mannheim seeks to fill two positions as

*Research Associates *

*(pre-doc or post-doc) *

Successful candidates will do research in the projects /Comparing public 
debates on sustainable restructuring/ and /Persuasive effects of 
argumentative, visual and narrative climate discourse/. Both positions 
will run for three years. Net monthly earnings amount to approx. 1,350 
Euros (1,750US$) for the pre-doc position and approx. 2,000 Euros (2,650 
US$) for the post-doc position, plus comprehensive social security 
benefits. Both positions are tuition-free. We are seeking applicants 
from the field of communication or a related social science discipline 
with advanced knowledge in empirical research methods. Experience with 
automated content analysis techniques or experimental methods are 
advantageous, but not a prerequisite. Proficiency in the German language
