Wed Jul 31 11:15:31 GMT 2013

PHILOSOPHY OF PHOTOGRAPHY CALL FOR PAPERS

Philosophy of Photography is an international peer-reviewed journal published six monthly in the spring and autumn. The journal’s aim is to provide a forum for theoretical and critical debate of issues arising from the historical, political, cultural and scientific ideas, practices and techniques that constitute photography as a multifaceted and changing form.

The editors welcome inquiries and submissions from researchers and practitioners working in any discipline, who seek to explore any aspect of photography from a theoretical standpoint. The journal publishes articles, reviews, conference reports, occasional symposia on key topics and critical analyses of technical developments. Proposals for contributions in the form of photographic works are also welcome.

We invite submissions for publication in the spring 2014 issue (deadline December 13 2013).

We also have some capacity to consider late submissions for the autumn 2013 issue (deadline August 31 2013).

Please contact the editors for further details.
