*Lectureship Documentary Practice *

*Fixed Term -- One year *

*0.8 fte *

*Salary (H3): £36,389 pa to £46,773 (pro rata) pa inc. of London Weighting*

Screen Media is seeking to recruit a dynamic teacher and high quality 
researcher to join our innovative programme. We are looking for 
applicants with expertise in the area of Documentary Film and we are 
seeking to recruit a *one year fixed-term* *0.8 post at Lecturer level.*

You will contribute to teaching on a range of modules that combine 
theory and practice, with a particular emphasis on documentary film 
making and alternative practices in documentary, and will be a 
researcher whose work can contribute to the Screen Media Research Centre.

You should have a good Honours degree and an advanced postgraduate 
qualification (PhD) in the area of documentary studies. An active 
commitment to research is essential, as is experience of teaching in 
higher education.

We expect the successful applicant to pursue their own research activity 
in line with the research strategy of the subject and to produce 
research outcomes which will enhance the School's research standing. We 
expect the successful candidate to contribute to the administration of 
the course.
