*The ECREA European Media and Communication Doctoral Summer School 
receives reward for excellence*


The ECREA European Media and Communication Doctoral Summer School has 
received a reward for excellence from Centre of the Republic of Slovenia 
for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes.

The Summer School programme was awarded first place among the Erasmus 
Lifelong Learning Programme -- Intensive Learning Projects, funded by 
Slovene national agency in 2011 and 2012. The awarded programmes are 
promoted as cases of best practice since they excel in their content, 
innovativeness and in promotion of international cooperation.

The summer school is currently organised by University of Bremen. For

The summer school is a project of a consortium of 22 European 
universities (University of Bremen, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), 
University of Roskilde, University of Tampere, Lund University, 
Loughborough University, Charles University, University of Ankara, 
University of Tartu, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, University of Stirling, 
University of Erfurt, University of Bergen, Vytautas Magnus University 
(VMU), Jönköping University, University of Sacred Heart Milano, 
University on Helsinki, University Stendhal, Grenoble 3, London School 
of Economics & Political Science, University of Westminster, Autonomous 
University of Barcelona, and University of Ljubljana) and is supported 
by ECREA and a number of affiliated partners.
