A Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/ Reader who will strengthen current provision 
in Film Studies.

to the level of

appointment, and, at the Reader level, will be able to make a 
substantial contribution to

welcome expertise in

any area of film studies but particularly in non-Anglophone cinemas and 
film theory. In your

Creative Media Practice Ref: 104

Post title: Media Production Tutor: Video and Interactive Media

Fixed Term contract until 31 July 2015

Salary range: £30,424 to £36,298 per annum

Expected start date: 1 September 2013

A Production Tutor with particular expertise in Video Production and 
Interactive Media.

You will contribute to core modules on undergraduate and taught 
postgraduate courses in

creative media practice, and contribute to liaison with external partners.

You will possess a higher degree in a relevant area or will have 
equivalent scholarly or

relevant professional activity. You will have experience of working in 
relevant professional

environments and teaching experience at least to undergraduate level. 
Your main roles will

involve practice based teaching at undergraduate and taught postgraduate 
level, and

providing on-going support to students in the above areas. You may also 
be involved in

working with external partners.

Tutorial Fellow: International Student Support Ref: 102

Fixed Term to 30 June 2014, Part time 0.5 FTE

Salary range: starting at £30,424 and rising to £36,298 per annum pro rata

Expected start date: 1 July 2013

An experienced and organised individual to provide academic study skills 
support for

international undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of 
Media, Film and

Music. Duties will include providing academic study skills support for 
international

undergraduate and postgraduate students, contributing to the development 
of teaching

and learning that supports international students and providing guidance 
to the teaching

team in relation to the particular needs of international students.

Teaching experience and the ability to communicate effectively is 
essential. Familiarity

with modules delivered in the School is highly desirable.
