We are pleased to announce that (OBS*) Observatorio journal's latest issue is now available.
(OBS*) Observatorio Special Issue `Introducing Media, Technology and the
Migrant Family: Media Uses, Appropriations and Articulations in a Culturally
Diverse Europe´ (COST ACTION IS0906), including contributions from scholars
from Belgium, Finland, Switzerland, Norway, Italy, Netherlands, Spain,
Portugal and United Kingdom, is now available to any interested reader, free
of charge – simply go to the website [ http://obs.obercom.pt ].
This special issue results from the work of the Cost Action IS0906
“Transforming Audiences, Transforming Societies”.
COST is an intergovernmental framework for European Cooperation in Science
and Technology, allowing the coordination of nationally-funded research at
the European level.
Observatorio (OBS*) e-journal is a publication with international character,
which accepts and publishes texts written in Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan,
Galician, Italian, French and English.
We hope you will find this project of interest to your research activity and
that, in a near future, we will be able to count with your work among the
authors published at Observatorio (OBS*) journal.

Caros colegas,
É com satisfação que anunciamos o lançamento do número especial da
revista académica Observatorio (OBS*), com o título `Introducing Media,
Technology and the Migrant Family: Media Uses, Appropriations and
Articulations in a Culturally Diverse Europe´, que resulta do trabalho
desenvolvido pela Acção COST IS0906 “Transforming Audiences,
Transforming Societies”.
Este número especial da revista inclui contribuições de investigadores da
Bélgica, Finlândia, Suíça, Noruega, Itália, Holanda, Espanha, Portugal
e Reino Unido.
COST é uma rede europeia de coordenação de actividades de investigação
financiadas a nível nacional. Baseia-se num quadro intergovernamental de
cooperação acordada entre países europeus, permitindo a colaboração
entre investigadores em ciência e tecnologia.
(OBS*) Observatorio e-journal é uma publicação de alcance internacional,
que aceita e publica textos escritos em Português, Inglês, Francês,
Italiano, Castelhano, Catalão e Galego.
Esperamos que este número especial da revista seja de interesse para o seu
trabalho de investigação e que, num futuro próximo, possamos contar com
trabalhos seus entre os autores publicados pela (OBS*).
